The Step Saver stair chair is a lower-cost alternative to a residential accessibility elevator, takes less than half a day to install and leaves enough room on the staircase for others to walk by. Safe and sturdy, the Step Saver will take you up or down straight stairways smoothly and comfortably and can be installed on either side of your staircase.
This classic model comes with a slew of great features, including two remote controls, a foldable footrest, a flip-up seat that swivels and locks in position, two obstruction sensors and an anti-skid foot rest. Its neutral colour allows it to blend in with any decor. Because it's battery-powered, the Step Saver will even work during a power outage. Although the seat cover is available in both cloth and vinyl, many prefer this last option as it facilitates transfer and cleaning.
